I attended Hamilton Boys’ High School from 1994 to 1998. After leaving HBHS, I went on to study at Waikato University and also spent time overseas. I am now Chief Operating Officer at Comvita and am based in Tauranga, where I have lived with my family since 2015.

I first connected with the Old Boys Foundation through its events, which provided a great opportunity to reconnect and catch up with fellow Old Boys. I joined the HBHS Foundation Board in 2022 and have really valued the opportunity to give back to the school. The Foundation plays an important role in strengthening the connection between Old Boys and HBHS, as well as supporting the wider school community. 

I have many great memories from my time at HBHS across both the classroom and the sporting field, but one of the most significant and lasting has been the friendships I formed, many of which have continued well beyond my school years. I was also fortunate to have teachers like Mr Leach, who taught English and Drama and made those subjects engaging and accessible, even for someone who didn’t always naturally gravitate towards them.
