HBHS Old Boys' Foundation was recently able to support our community of international and refugee students, by contributing $500 towards new swimming equipment and clothing for our Multicultural Manaaki Centre.
More than 130,000 kiwi kids have never had a swimming lesson, with immigrant students largely over-represented.
Using the school pool and this new equipment, we’ve helped ensure students can access free swimming classes during the summer, and grow confident in and around our waters.
